About the Artist:

Kelsey earned a BFA in ceramics from UNC-Asheville in 2004. It wasn't long after she started Plays in Mud Pottery. She was accepted into the Southern Highland Craft Guild in 2012 and in 2020 opened the Plays in Mud Pottery Gallery, Studio, and Teaching Center in the heart of West Asheville. Today around 90 galleries across the country carry her work and Plays in Mud Pottery is a distinct brand.
