Class Policies

Payment: Payment for classes is required for registration.
We accept cash, checks, all major credit cards and Apple Pay.

Schedule Changes: Every effort will be made to hold classes on the days and times listed. However, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel classes. If your class is rescheduled or cancelled, you will be notified of the new date/time. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee for that class.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: If you need to cancel you can do so up to 3 days before the class or workshop for refund, minus 5% to cover transaction fees.  (For a Saturday class you must cancel by the Wednesday prior.) If it is less than 3 days before the class there is no refund for the class but you can take the same class on a future date. For birthday parties and private classes, a 24-hour cancellation notice is required for a deposit refund (minus the 5% transaction fee). If cancellation is made after 24-hours, we will refund 25% of the deposit.

A minimum of 3 participants is required for a class to run. If a class does not have enough participants by the prior day at 12:00 pm we will get in touch to let you know it has been cancelled. You can receive a refund or use your credit towards a future class. 

Forms: All students and open studio renters are required to complete a liability waiver prior to the beginning of class or first rental session.  Open studio/torch renters are also required to fill out a rental agreement prior to their first session.

What to Wear: Students should wear comfortable cotton clothing (no polyester or synthetics; jeans and t-shirts are great) and flat, closed-toe shoes or sneakers.  Long hair must be pulled back. Safety goggles and aprons will be provided. Anything that hangs away from the body (long necklaces, scarves, etc.) should be left at home or removed before the class.

What to Bring: Bring a water bottle; it's important to stay hydrated while working on the torch.  Elsie Kaye Glassworks does not provide food, but feel free to bring lunch, dinner or a snack if you would like. 

Product Return Policies

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we’re here to help! We offer free returns within 30 days of purchase. You can return your product for store credita different product, or a refund to the original payment method.

Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy:

Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original product packaging.

Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.

To initiate a return, please reply to your order confirmation email to request which products you would like to return. Or visit us in the shop.

Privacy Policy
Elsie Kaye values the privacy of its customers. Any information that we gather is necessary for the course of business. We do not spam.

We may occasionally send correspondence to our customers to inform them of changes, specials, new items, etc. Should you receive email from Elsie Kaye and desire to be removed from our list you may contact us and we will immediately honor your request. 

Elsie Kaye does not provide third parties with information such as names, postal addresses or email addresses.
