Perfect for those who are new to glass beadmaking, as well as students who have taken an introductory class or two.   Flameworking instructor and studio owner Holly Kenny provides a solid foundation and builds on the fundamentals of soft glass manipulation.

Students will learn to make glass beads through instructor demonstrations, discussions and lots of hands-on torch time. All materials are included.

This one-day intensive covers a wide range of glass bead techniques - from simple "donut" and round beads to creating a variety of shapes and textures using both tools and free-hand work.  Learn multiple decorating methods, using glass frit, stringer and chards, along with twisted stringer, silver and copper foils & wire and even a bit of magic "reduction" glass!

This workshop includes six workshop hours with a one hour-lunch break.

Class size: Maximum 4 students; minimum 2 students.
