April Break 2023- Teen Flameworking Camp - Ages 12 and up

Class size: Maximum of 6 students, minimum of 3.
Course fee: $90/day or $400 for full week (save $50 if you sign up for entire week)

Is your teen looking for something unique and different to do over February break? Have them trade that iPad or video game for a weeklong journey into glass art!  In our camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of glass beadmaking using a gas and oxygen-fueled torch and glass rods.

Students will be introduced to the use of heat and gravity to shape molten glass. Each student will make between 6-8 beads each day. On the last day, students will learn how to turn their beads into finished jewelry and will leave with several pendants, bracelets, keychains and more.

No experience is necessary and all materials are included.  Students who have attended our glass camps before will have an opportunity to advance their skills through new techniques and supplies.

A nut-free snack and drink will be provided.

Class size is limited to 6 students to allow for individual attention. Minimum of 3 students is required to run the class. Students may also attend for just part of the week.
